I know absolutely nothing about whiskey. Nothing at all. Zip. So this past Wednesday’s Qype event at Whiskey specialists Salt was the perfect blend of intoxicating and informative. Salt is at the south end of the Edgware Road (which to me is the border to the no-fly-zone of west London). So it’s a whiskey bar with a mind boggling array of every kind of whiskey, with and without the ‘e’, from all over the world. We were there to sample three of Talisker‘s range.
